Note: Applications are for 1.6L Ecoboost engines, but some components in this kit will also work on other Ford/Lincoln models with different power units such as: Expedition/Navigator, Explorer/Aviator, F-150/250/350/450/550 & Ford GT(super car)

Instructions
- Preparation:
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat, stable surface and is safely lifted and supported.
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety during the service.
- Camshaft Phaser Removal:
- Remove any components obstructing access to the camshafts.
- Use #2822 (Cam Locking Plate) to secure the camshafts if VCT phasers are removed.
- Ensure proper alignment using Ford Factory Tool #303-1552 for reference.
- Flywheel Holding:
- Locate the flywheel and remove any necessary components for access.
- Utilize #5062 (Flywheel Holder) to immobilize the flywheel during timing and seal replacement.
- Verify proper fitment by comparing the tool to Ford Factory Tools #303-393A, 303-393-01 & 303-393-02.
- Crankshaft Vibration Dampener Alignment:
- Identify the crankshaft vibration dampener.
- Use #1806 (Crankshaft Vibration Dampener Alignment Tool) to ensure correct alignment.
- Confirm alignment using Ford Factory Tool #303-1550 as a guide.
- Fuel Line Disconnect:
- Identify the fuel line connector and fuel rail.
- Use #1810 (Fuel Line Disconnect Tool - 5/16" x 3/8") on both ends due to limited clearance.
- Ensure compatibility by comparing the tool to Ford Factory Tool #310-250.
- Timing and Seal Replacement:
- Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for timing and seal replacement procedures.
- Use the appropriate tools from the kit to carry out the replacement, ensuring precision.
- Reassembly:
- Follow the reverse order of disassembly to reassemble components.
- Torque all bolts and fasteners to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Kit Applications and Compatibility:
- Refer to the individual tool webpages for detailed product and application information.
- Confirm the compatibility of each tool in the kit with your specific 1.6L EcoBoost engine.
- Post-Service Checks:
- Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
