  1. Preparation:
    1. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat, stable surface and is safely lifted and supported.
    2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety during the service.
  2. Camshaft Phaser Removal:
    1. Remove any components obstructing access to the camshafts.
    2. Use #2822 (Cam Locking Plate) to secure the camshafts if VCT phasers are removed.
    3. Ensure proper alignment using Ford Factory Tool #303-1552 for reference.
  3. Flywheel Holding:
    1. Locate the flywheel and remove any necessary components for access.
    2. Utilize #5062 (Flywheel Holder) to immobilize the flywheel during timing and seal replacement.
    3. Verify proper fitment by comparing the tool to Ford Factory Tools #303-393A, 303-393-01 & 303-393-02.
  4. Crankshaft Vibration Dampener Alignment:
    1. Identify the crankshaft vibration dampener.
    2. Use #1806 (Crankshaft Vibration Dampener Alignment Tool) to ensure correct alignment.
    3. Confirm alignment using Ford Factory Tool #303-1550 as a guide.
  5. Fuel Line Disconnect:
    1. Identify the fuel line connector and fuel rail.
    2. Use #1810 (Fuel Line Disconnect Tool - 5/16" x 3/8") on both ends due to limited clearance.
    3. Ensure compatibility by comparing the tool to Ford Factory Tool #310-250.
  6. Timing and Seal Replacement:
    1. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for timing and seal replacement procedures.
    2. Use the appropriate tools from the kit to carry out the replacement, ensuring precision.
  7. Reassembly:
    1. Follow the reverse order of disassembly to reassemble components.
    2. Torque all bolts and fasteners to the manufacturer's specifications.
  8. Kit Applications and Compatibility:
    1. Refer to the individual tool webpages for detailed product and application information.
