  • Similar to #8075 but extra long 20-1/2" (521mm) for added reach
  • Range: 1/2" to 2" (13mm to 50mm)

Outside Pulling:

  1. Using the nuts and bolts provided, assemble the jaws to the yoke with the jaw notches toward each other.
  2. Thread the adjusting cone on the puller rod concave side first so that the external taper is toward each other.
  3. Thread the yoke on the rod, then install and tighten the large nut.
  4. Place the jaws evenly around the component to be pulled, then turn the adjusting cone so its taper forces the jaws tightly against the component.
  5. Slide the hammer against its stop repeatedly until the component is removed.

Inside Pulling:

  1. Using the nuts and bolts provided, assemble the jaws to the yoke with the jaw notches facing outward.
  2. Thread the adjusting cone on the puller rod convex side first so that the internal taper is toward each other.
  3. Thread the yoke on the rod, then install and tighten the large nut.
  4. Place the jaws inside the component to be pulled, then turn the adjusting cone so its taper forces the jaws tightly against the inside diameter of the component.
  5. Slide the hammer against its stop repeatedly until the component is removed.
